Não esperem encontrar um livro colorido com boas ilustrações, nada disso esse livro é como se fossem descrições sucintas e objetivas de todos os tópicos importantes dentro da cirurgia BMF, tais como fendas labias e palatinas, tratamento das moléstias do complexo craniofacial, tratamento cosmético e das neoplasias malignas que afetam a cabeça e pescoço e muito mais abordagens. Recomendo.

• This text deals with treatment of cleft lips and palate patients, cosmetic surgery of the face and jaws, treatment of jaw disease and cancer of the head and neck. In addition it covers the scientific aspects of diagnosis of a spectrum of orofacial conditions such as oral ulcers and parathyroid gland dysfunction. The management of patients with facial injuries is discussed and the important surgical operations performed by maxillofacial surgeons are described in detail.
